Whittier 360 News Network extends heartfelt congratulations to the MAGA movement and to President-Elect Trump on their decisive victory in this year's election. As a platform rooted in dedication to the truth and the American people, we were once cautious of the MAGA movement in 2016, holding concerns about certain constitutional implications of its goals. However, by 2020, it had become unmistakably clear that the Democratic leadership was not acting in the best interests of Americans but was instead wielding power abusively to target and silence those with differing viewpoints. The prosecutions of Trump were, in our view, emblematic of this dangerous trend.
Our support for Trump and MAGA came at a significant cost. Whittier 360 and its founder faced intense scrutiny, relentless attacks, and character assassination campaigns. Yet, undeterred, we stood firm, defending both our principles and local MAGA supporters through all the trials that followed. Today, we celebrate this hard-won national mandate.
Now, with the election behind us, Whittier 360 News Network plans to step back briefly to catch our breath and prepare for the future. As we enter this new chapter, our focus will return to the issues and events most pressing to our local community. Whether we continue our vocal support for MAGA Republicans in 2026 will depend on how these leaders uphold their promises and perform with the trust America has placed in them over the next two years.
Locally, Whittier 360 is expanding its commitment to transparency and accountability. Our campaign finance monitoring will broaden from covering only City of Whittier elections to now include Whittier School District elections, tracking where candidates are receiving their funding. Additionally, Whittier 360 continues to stand behind initiatives for tax exemptions for tipped workers and overtime earners, as well as making Social Security checks tax-exempt.
In all of this, we remain unwavering in our dedication to transparency and responsibility for our community.
God Bless the People Who Gave Us the Constitution and This Country, The United States of America.
